Some great events coming up next week from the Limerick Writers’ Centre as part of the Richard Harris International Film Festival. On Sat 29th we walk in the footsteps of Richard Harris and explore the history of Limerick cinemas plus some of our iconic writers with tour guide Joe Coleman.
On Mon in The Commercial Bar, Catherine Street we have a fusion of literature and music with a historic coming together of two drummers who contributed to modern Irish music Eamon Carr co-founder of HORSLIPS and Limerick’s own Don ‘Connor of REFORM will play the same bill. Eamon will read from his literary work with fellow author Oran Ryan accompanied by Don O’Connor and his ‘Celtic Fusion’ featuring Sean Kelly. Not a gig to me missed…and it is FREE entry be there early 1pm start!
