Description
Maureen Curran lives in Donegal, where she is a teacher. For five years she was one of the organisers of Letterkenny reading series, North West Words; booking writers, editing four issues of its online magazine and curating two writing weekends in that time.
Maureen very much enjoys sharing her poems with an audience and has been a featured reader at North West Words events for Culture Night, for National Poetry Day and during the Earagail Arts Festival, as well as at Over The Edge in Galway.
Her poems have appeared in Boyne Berries, Burning Bush2, Crannóg, Envoi, Ofi Press Magazine, Poetry Bus, Revival, the Stony Thursday Book, Skylight 47, online at An Algerbra of Owls, Honest Ulsterman, Ink, Sweat & Tears, Lake Poetry, Southword, Spontaneity, and Word Bohemia.
