Description
Where It Began brings together poems produced over a period of twenty-five years. The poems which are written in diverse styles, formal and informal, address a wide range of themes including growing up, memory, sport, music, family and the craft of writing. Some were written for the pure love of words. The collection includes poems of celebration and mourning, connection and separation, and reflections on the historic past giving way to (and sometimes surviving) the inexorable onrush of the present.
