April is Poetry Month in Limerick. Event Number 5.
On a cold, wet Friday night, the People’s Museum of Limerick became a bright gathering place as John Liddy’s poetry warmed the room and carried listeners into the reflective, finely‑tuned world of his work. Revival Press were proud to present True to Form, the newest collection from Liddy — a poet whose life and imagination move between Limerick and Spain, and whose voice continues to deepen with each book.

April is Poetry Month in Limerick – Event Number 4
A wonderful gathering of poets filled the Belltable last night to mark fifty years of The Stony Thursday Book. Writers from near and far – all of whom have appeared in the journal across its long life – returned to read the poems that first brought them into its pages. The room carried that unmistakable Stony blend of warmth, camaraderie, and lively exchange, with each reading adding its own spark to the celebration.

A warm welcome was extended to our three guest readers—each proudly rooted in Limerick—at the first of this month’s Trio Readings. Eoin Devereux, Marie Studer and Michael Dooley took to the microphone and offered an evening rich in contrast, craft and conversation. MC for the evening was Revival Press editor Tommy Collins.

April is Poetry Month in Limerick – Event Two
The second event in this year’s April is Poetry Month in Limerick series took place today, once again bringing a little unexpected magic to the streets of the city. Held in association with Quay Books on Sarsfield Street, the occasion drew passersby into a moment of surprise, generosity, and quiet reflection.
