April is Poetry Month in Limerick Celebrates World Book Day at Quay Books, Limerick
11 Sarsfield Street, Limerick
Thursday, 23 April
1.00–2.30 pm
Join us at Quay Books for a relaxed lunchtime gathering in honour of World Book Day. Whether you’re a regular visitor or simply passing by, we invite you to drop in, browse the shelves, and enjoy a moment surrounded by stories, ideas, and the joy of reading.
Throughout the afternoon, we’ll have informal readings, conversations about books old and new, and plenty of opportunities to discover something unexpected. It’s a chance to connect with fellow readers, support a local bookshop, and celebrate the role books continue to play in our lives.
World Book Day, celebrated globally and organised by UNESCO, brings together millions of readers in more than 100 countries each year. We’re delighted to mark the occasion here in Limerick with a warm, welcoming event for all ages and interests.
Everyone is welcome — come share in the love of literature.
