In this stunning debut collection, Suzanne Roys charts a journey of self-discovery far from home—a confessional exploration of loving, losing, physicality, and the tender ache of becoming. With sensuous, lyrical language and striking imagery, these poems meditate on the pains of youth and dislocation, grappling with the spaces between need and desire, yesterday and today.

Description

Suzanne has been writing since the age of eight and first began writing poetry in secondary school. Her work has been selected for various independent publications and published in the Irish Independent. When writing, she can be found drinking large pots of coffee at questionable times of day, and when not writing, she can be found wandering art museums, listening to the same albums over and over, or befriending approachable cats. This is her first book of poems.
