This month the launch of SECOND SIGHT – an anthology of writing from The Limerick Writers’ Centre Creative Writing Class for Older People 2019 PLUS the Open-Mic!

The anthology will be launched by Liz Kelly, Director of Mountains To The Sea Book festival and a Cultural Producer with Galway 2020.

Second Sight – Edited by award winning poet Ron Carey, you will find within these pages stories and poems that lift the spirits, gentleness, poetic insight, tragedy, joy, loneliness, humour, love of life or simply love itself. Here you will find the work of some of the best writers and poets who attended our classes for older people during 2019.

Everyone is invited to take part in the open-mic after the main event, poets, storytellers, musicians and writers. Even if you don’t write you are welcome to bring something along to read. The night begins at 8.00pm and admission is free. So join us on the night and make this event something special.
NOTE: Our special authors book table will again be in operation, so if you want your book, CD’s etc publicised make sure you are represented on the table. Contact Dominic Taylor at 087 2996409 to make arrangements.

The Limerick Writers’ Centre is currently unfunded and depends for revenue from sales of books and donations.
