A Festive Evening of Poetry.

Celebrate the magic of Christmas with The First Wednesday Series at The Whitehouse Bar, Limerick Wednesday 6th December 7.30pm.
As we approach this Christmas season, we are delighted to invite the community to a heart-warming poetry reading with festive cheer. This delightful event promises to be a perfect blend of literary elegance and Christmas spirit.

Embrace the Christmas Spirit through Poetry
Our special guest reader this month is Jared Nadin. Jared is a musician, actor, and poet based in Limerick city. He is a co-founder of Stanzas, a Limerick literary collective established in 2014. More recently, he has been the host of the monthly 'Prose Pints and Poetry' event in the Wickham. His work has been published in Stanzas Paperweights series, the Ó'Bhéal Five-Word Anthology, Silver Apples Magazine and Brilliant Flash Fiction Magazine. in 2021 Jared returned to college in the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance at UL where he is currently studying a BA in World Music.

Of course we will also feature a line-up of talented open-mic poets who will share their original works and perhaps some classic Christmas poems that evoke the warmth and joy of the season. We would invite attendees to bring verses that celebrate the festive season, family gatherings, and the spirit of giving.

A Festive Venue to Inspire and Delight
