The Limerick Writers’ Centre has run April is Poetry Month in Limerick since 2013. Our aim is to create poetry events during April involving public participation, celebrating poetry’s vital place in our culture. We host a number of poetry events ourselves but this is also a cooperative festival of poetry taking in all the poetry events happening in the city and county for the month of April.
