“First Wednesday Series” Returns to The Whitehouse Bar, Limerick, with Tipp based  Poet Patricia Anne Moore.

The First Wednesday Series, a treasured fixture in Limerick’s cultural landscape, is set to make a triumphant return on March 6th at The Whitehouse Bar, located at 51 O’Connell St. This monthly gathering, hosted by The Poetry Circle and Lime Street Poets, has become a cornerstone of the local poetry community, offering a welcoming platform for poets of all backgrounds to share their work.

The First Wednesday Series is renowned for its inclusive spirit, providing a democratic space where poets, both seasoned and emerging, can take the stage and engage with audiences. The Open-Mic segment consistently draws record crowds, with over twenty poets participating in each event, showcasing the vibrant creative energy that thrives within Limerick.

Highlighting each instalment of the First Wednesday Series is a special guest poet, and for the upcoming March edition, the esteemed Patricia Anne Moore will grace the stage. Originally hailing from Belfast and now residing in Killaloe, Patricia has been captivating audiences with her poetry since 1992. Her evocative verses have been featured in prestigious journals such as ‘Stony Thursday’ and ‘Drawn to the Light’, earning her widespread acclaim in the literary world.
