Poetry Circle (Limerick Writers’ Centre) and Lime Square Poets present First Wednesday Series, an open mic and poetry reading gathering on the first Wednesday of the month. First Wednesday Series is hosted by Laura McNamara and D’or Seifer with the intention of inspiring a passion for poetry performance and gather poets from the mid-west region.
Join us on February 4th at 7:30pm for the First Wednesday Series’ monthly session, featuring a reading from poet Kaya McCarthy followed by open mic. The event takes place at the White House Bar (52 O’Connell St., Limerick). All our events are free and all are welcome!
Kaya McCarthy is a second-year student at Mary Immaculate College studying English Literature and Media, and an aspiring poet whose work explores personal experience, place, and emotion.
