A Night to Remember: A Titanic Irish Poetry Showcase Tuesday, 14 April,

SAVE THE DATE and INVITE YOUR FRIENDS to: A Night to Remember: A Titanic Irish Poetry Showcase Tuesday, 14 April, 11am-2pm PACIFIC/7pm-10pm Ireland We already have five confirmed poets from Ireland thanks to the work of Dominic Taylor, the executive director of the Centre. As you’ll see below, Dominic had organized a robust, enriching month of poetry events in Limerick. Now some of the poets he had lined will be able to participate in an International Poetry Month event! We are calling A Night to Remember a special event/showcase to distinguish it from our weekly LIVE Open Mic.

The Limerick Writers’ Centre has run April is Poetry Month in Limerick since 2014. Our aim is to create poetry events during April involving public participation, celebrating poetry’s vital place in our culture. We host a number of poetry events ourselves but this is also a cooperative festival of poetry taking in all the poetry events happening in the city for the month of April.
