Faraway Martin returns to Ireland from Doha, Qatar, where he has been based for the past four years. The singer/songwriter is completing a mammoth tour of Ireland, playing 32 gigs in all 32 counties, in 32 days. September 1st will see the Mayo man take off via campervan promoting his new single ‘I Wanna Go’ which has already received radioplay in the States, the UK as well as national radioplay in Ireland. This first single from Faraway Martin’s upcoming debut album set for release in March. The tour will comprise of headline gigs, support slots, house concerts and festivals appearances around the country as well as getting into schools and youth clubs to share his music and travel experiences. The former teacher will be joined by various Irish artists along the way to help him complete all 32 counties.

The Acoustic Club is a live music venue presenting local, independent and nationally touring performers. It is a non-profit organisation and 100% volunteer operated. Based at Charlie Malone’s Bar, Wolfe Tone.. St, Limerick, The Acoustic Club takes place every Tuesday at 9.00pm.
All aspiring songwriters, musicians and singers are invited to attend and play in front of a live audience.
Please note musicians attend and perform purely on a voluntary basis and the event is designed to showcase the work of aspiring artists. All types of music and singers are welcome.
The evening will feature performers doing short sets of two or three songs. Also “Special Guest” slots where an established performer will perform a set. Host for the evening is Eugene Nolan. The Acoustic Club is a regular feature of the live music scene in Limerick.
The Acoustic Club is an initiative of The Limerick Writers’ Centre.
