Limerick Writers’ Centre – Fundamentals of Radio Drama Scripts Workshop
Date: Saturday 23rd of November, 2019. 10am – 1pm, 2pm – 5pm.
The course will entail an introduction to the craft of writing for radio – how to develop characters for audio, writing the individual scene, dialogue, structure, format, rewriting techniques, writing a radio treatment and how to sell your script.
Eleanor McSherry, has a Bachelors Degree in Media and Communications and Philosophy. She has facilitated many courses with the Limerick Writer’s Centre since 2010. She is not only a multi-shortlisted film short script writer, she is also one of the co-founders of the Limerick Arts and Culture Exchange and currently teaches a Creative Writing at the Limerick College of Further Education, part of the course deals with playwriting. She also lectures with UCC and Hibernia College Dublin and has guest lectured on radio script with LIT.
Fee for the workshop is €100 (€90 concession).
Places must be paid for in advance and booking is essential as places are limited.
