Prepare for another captivating summer evening as The Acoustic Club, renowned for its songwriter open-mic sessions, gears up to present a remarkable event on July 18th at the prestigious Record Room, nestled within The Commercial Bar on Catherine Street in Limerick. This special occasion will feature a truly exceptional emerging talent, Jack Keeshan,

Jack Keeshan, is a proud native of Roscrea who stands out as more than just another young musician with a guitar slung over his shoulder. Once you witness his captivating performances, it becomes clear that he possesses a unique talent. Over the past year, Jack has graced stages across the country, winning hearts and keeping a jam-packed schedule.

His songs are meticulously crafted, carrying echoes of Bob Dylan and hints of Bob Marley. Yet, Jack brings his own distinct message to the table as a young songwriter. Throughout the pandemic, he dedicated himself to honing his craft, and his hard work paid off when restrictions eased. In fact, he was one of the first to hit the live performance circuit, even making an appearance at last year’s Electric Picnic during the summer.

Jack has already established a reputation for his ability to connect with people through his music and poetry. He firmly believes that it doesn’t matter who someone is or their social or economic status—everyone has something to teach us, even those we may overlook. His philosophy is reflected in his lyrics, which exude positivity and delve into important topics like mental health. During his college years, Jack actively contributed to this cause by busking and serving as a mental health officer.

To stay updated on Jack’s journey and upcoming concerts, you can follow his Instagram and Facebook accounts under ‘JackKeeshanMusic’. Discover more about this talented individual from Roscrea and be part of his musical adventure at the Record Room, Limerick on Tues 18th July 8.30pm.
