Description
Wednesday evenings 2003 – 2008 at the White House Bar in Limerick, host Barney Sheehan invites poets to the microphone to share their words. Everyone is welcome; unpublished and experienced writers stand side by side.
This recording is a selection of the last five years of those readings. What you hear is a testament to the vigour and depth of poetry in Limerick.
Recorded live in the White House Bar in the beautiful and historic city of Limerick, the weekly event was recognised as one of Ireland’s leading celebrations of contemporary poetry.
